What is terry velour towels?
Normal terry towels have loops/piles on both sides, but terry velour towels have one sides loops sheared meanwhile keep the other side loops/piles intact. The cut side we call it velour, it has smooth, velvety feel.
Factory usually cut twice. Fist cut after just take down the terry loom before dyeing and any further process. The first cut is crucial, it decide the quality of velour. The second cut is the last process, it give the velour smooth soft velvety feel.
